So I've been busting to share my enthusiasm with fellow enthusiasts. Feels good to have company. Cheers.
Welcome Ozmeath, from a recent kilt convert from the Pacific Northwest of North America! I've been kilted full time since August and the euphoria hasn't worn off yet. and yes, it is an incurable affliction - seven kilts, one on the way.
Good to have you here. Do you have any didge music in your group? I know it's not celtic, but I have heard in in conjunction with other celtic music.

Welcom Oz! And I'll echo Mowgli's sentiments that the euphoria does not seem to wear off. Still get a lift every morning when I get dressed and head to work.

A big welcome, Osmeath.
Have you heard The Wicked Tinkers? They are from California & combine bagpipes & didges for an awesome sound.

Sherry, YES! In fact, I actually asked her to comment on a kilt I was eyeing on eBay and she said "Absolutely NOT!", and provided a link to another kilt that she liked better!!!! And tonight I decided to lay out my outfit for tomorrow (I have been spending too much time evaluating clothing choices in the morning!), and asked my wife to come up and help out and she was happy too! She still thinks I am going through some kind of midlife crisis, but has decided it could be much worse.

See, you just had to start asking questions like "Honey, does this kilt go with this shirt?" and she's happy. You know the women folk just like to think they're in charge.

Ozmeath, welcome aboard!
One of the great things about this board is that you get kilt-wearers of all shapes, sizes, and points of view. You'll certainly get opinions and advice of all sorts here. The other nice thing is that (I think) there's a nice respect for each other's views here. Some boards tend to get way too snippy but this one is almost always polite.

Opinions and advice that are worth what you pay for them!!
And Jamie we don't respect each other's views, we've just gotten tired of arguing with others that are as free thinking and hard headed as ourselves!
