Thumbs up Set a goal, finally.

Well, I finally did it. I decided to start setting aside $ toward a new kilt. Every time I have some spare change it goes into an envelope labeled "kilt fund". Now it could take awhile to build up, but at least I am setting myself a goal. Not sure yet which kiltmaker I will purchase from. That all depends on how antsy I get for "a kilt any kilt!!" All the companies I have looked at have things that are in their favor. I guess I will just try and balance the economic and the fashion choice. Wish me lots of spare change.

I wish you lots of spare change, and maybe the guts to slip in a twenty every once in awhile.

I should be doing the same thing...less Taco Bell, more kilt funds...

Figure out what you want...save the image of the tartan and make it your desktop background...each time you're behind your pc you'll be reminded of your goal...torture? nope! It's yours!

    ...in time

I wish you lots of spare change!

I find just getting a cheap (but big) piggy bank is good for this sort of thing, Cormac. I've bought lots of things just by saving my change every day and tossing it all into the bank as I come home each day. Right now I'm about to bust into mine to see how far we are (given the sale that Stillwater is running right now).

Robin, very nice, and I am glad to see somebody else who keeps a wee dram close at hand while enjoying some conversation on XMarks!

Forgive me but that is a whole lot more than a "wee dram."

Before I found kilted enlightenment,I saved my spare change for computer parts, mainly hard drives. Now it's saved for kilts and accesories. It's a good thing though,I was running out of space for all my hard drives.
