Nice job, Chasem.
If any of you guys ever chance a look at a beginning sewing book, you won't find any kilt projects in them. And it's not because of any prejudice against kilts--it's 'cause it ain't no beginner project!

There's the top. You can see in that picture where the pleats aren't even/straight ;)

You did a great job on that kilt, making a kilt is certainly not a project I would attempt.

yeah, OK, so not PERFECT. Still, pretty darned good if you ask me. Again, if I can get this red one nearly that good I'll be jazzed.

You are definitely selling yourself short. So it's not ramrod straight, so what! If I tried it, it would like a drunken, blind tailor having an epileptic fit had tried to sew a kilt.
