SShhh, 2 new kilts...
Don't tell my wife but... on a thread recently, flyv65 (Bryan) offered up a kilt he not longer had a use for. After much haggling, emailing, and other sundry communications, we settled on a price (both of us convinced we got the best deal!), and he graciously sent it (shpping included in the final price) and I received it last Wednesday. Needless to say (and unfortunately for my wallet!) it fit perfectly. I wore it to class yesterday and so I guess now I have to pay for it! I also won an auction on eBay today for this olive UK. Got it for almost the same as on the UK site, but faster shipping. Can anyone detect a preference pattern with my kilt buying (other than that I keep buying them)?

Someone has been getting those subliminal messages of: buy kilts, buy kilts and buy them now.
Congratulations on your new arrivals!

SB, in practical terms you are correct, and in realistic terms, I need to go to bed and am too tired to count! Since this class I am in this week has no Internet access, my evenings are full of trying to check home email, work email, XMarks, other boards, and check my eBay auctions (both buy and sell).
However, I will give it a slightly tired (and to be honest 3 glasses of wine!) try (in purchase order):
SWK Standard - Nightstalker
SWK HW - Solid black

PK - Blue gray lined (Waiting for)

Hey KCW, ain't it great to have a choice of kilts?
I wear my UK tan original and olive mocker A LOT....ironically, I got my olive mocker "previously worn" too.

Well, if Rob had made the bed I'd have knocked another fiver off the price! I snapped those during wash day, when we were cleaning the mattress pad and I couldn't make the bed up untill the pad came out of the dryer.
And as for you, Rob, I didn't think there was all that much haggling: more a series of e-mails ping-ponging back and forth along the lines of "what's it worth?" "I dunno, what do you think it's worth?" "Does this sound fair?" "I like it if you like it", and so on. Glad it's working out for you, Rob: I just knew I wasn't putting enough effort into fitting back into the UK to justify letting it hang in the closet unused (I love my pizza and beer).
Bryan...I'll get another one day-but I'm not changing my avatar...

Bryan, turn down your sensitivity rating, your getting invalid feedback! Guess I should have put haggling as "haggling :-D"! I was just trying to enhance your reputation as a shrewd seller!
And I do love it. Worn it twice now, but still amazed that it is a 40L and fits looser than my UK mocker that is a 41L!
Later,

Sherry, do you really think so? I don't even have a double digit number of kilts yet (at least in my posession, once they all get here I will!). I think that will mark the turning point
