For formal wear, I think that a black leather sporran with metal cantle, chain, and possibly a crest on the flap looks very classy, especially with a black Argyll jacket. For me, being formal is often a case of the simplest, understated accessories.

i would say semi dress for newyears.... maybe less(depending on the amount of alcohol flowing

5:23 Wens. Just got home and put on my new SWK wool Kilt fits & feels Great.
Switchblade5984 your right The start of the evening Is the Nevel Brothers and then off to the Bar. Think I'll wear my Day Sporran. What was I Thinking???
Well I am going to brave the cold 0º & dropping and get a single malt at the Pub.
I'll post a Pic. if some one will walk me through. I posted to Shutterfly But ?????
