I love the idea gents however......
(don't you hate the however?)
My family is out of state for the holidays and my DW is staying in Idaho for at least a week after that. That means I get to be Mr. Mom for a while. If the night can be delayed until mid Jan. there is a good chance I could attend.
Fingers crossed and looking forward!

There's no hurry with this. If we can plant the seed in people's minds and get them used to the idea that we can actually have an upper Midwest kiltnight, we can start coordinating and figure out a date that will work for most of us.
January, February, whenever, unless I have a church conflict, I should be able to make it.
Once my next batch of beer is brewed, we may have the first Marquette/Yooper kilt night. Of course, you're all invited to that, and I could probably arrange sleeping accommodations for you long commuters.
Hey, this should be my 200th post! Only 50 more until I am promoted to a Kilted Warrior.

I'm with MacMullen, whenever works for folks. MacG, I definitely understand being Mr. Mom! Somehow, I am going to be the one batching it after Xmas as the wife and girls will be staying in FL for a few weeks. I don't know what I will find to do to keep myself busy..

No doubt. Even if they were only gone for a week, you could order a kilt from Stillwater every day, you could have five more kilts before they got home, with time left to hide them, not that I would advocate that kind of behavior...

Only five more?? Let me break it gently, but you do know that you can order more than one at a time and more than one per day, right? (Had to ask, some people are new to the Internet and shopping!). I could order 5 in one SESSION from SWK, and have them before my family got back, which would allow me to scatter them among my existing wardrobe and hide them. Hmmmh, Ron was saying on another thread that he was up to 33 with his recent manic buying rampage, I might be able to catch him if the family stays in FL until mid-January.
And I will have more time to watch eBay auction more closely....

Sure, you could order their entire stock on Monday and have it on Wednesday, but, let's be reasonable...
BTW, the latest batch of Scotch Ale is in the fermenter and the yeast has been pitched!
