Savman... guess I'll be meeting this guy at the Adams County Irish Festival in 2006?
Buddy... you've got more kilt-wearers in your neck-of-the-woods than you know! I have a LOAD of friends in the area that show-up every year to the Adams County gig and they all wear kilts regularly.
For all the Festivals that we play, or I've atttended, THAT ONE is without a doubt the highest percentage of kilts-to-patrons that I've ever seen. There are no Pipe Bands of Highland Games there to skew the numbers either! It's just a LOAD of heavy drinking, hard working, pleasant people in kilts!
~By the way, we have an entirely new repertoire of music for the new year that includes three tunes that incorporate the banjo into the mix. They were written and arranged with such crowds as Adams County in mind. I can't wait for that festival every year!

What great news Sav, you might have the makings of a kilt night!!
I wonder what the people of Gettysburg will think when kilted men start popping up all over the place.
Walmart too big glassman?? I find stores with more than 10 employees too big, I hate supermarkets especially. My wife shops in them to save a few pennies but I'd rather go to a small corner store and save my sanity.
sorry to go OT on you sav.

That's great Sav! I have never seen anyone wearing a kilt here in Frederick except at events. Maybe this is the start of something.

What a great experience, Sav. Maybe you could put a small display ad in the local shopper paper & get a kilt night together.

OK, a bit Off-Topic, but this is my thread, right? ;)
What Jimmy says about the ACIF is true! It's a great festival of really great hardworking folks. I'm a member of the planning committee, and with people like Brian Colgan, Sally Miller and others at the head, it's always a blast! This year, along with BARLEYJUICE! we have some VERY big name headliners (I can't announce just yet!) 8-)
