Aye, there are many more.....
There is a formal wear store here in Cortland.... I am sure they 'dispose' of the old once in a while.....

Anyone who bougtht one of these from this vendor, when you get your jacket post an update here. I've been trying to contact this vendor and they are apparently trapped under something very heavy as they have not replied to ANY of my emails. Need less to say they will be getting VERY NEGATIVE feedback It's clear that this vendor does not see buyers on ebay as customers otherwise they would at least email to say things are good and your package will ship whenever.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem dealing with sellers on Ebay, but this particular seller has been a big pain in my butt from a customer point of view. Communication is key.

$36.95 is what they charge for the jackets regularly on their website.
I don't know if they're having a "fire sale" or if they just want to try to move some old stock....
Thought about if but haven't gone formal for some time and probably won't in the near future...

Well, she just put a 44 Eton on auction, so I went the buy it now route.
And now I read cavscout's comments.....
eeek
Next question: Where is a good place to buy nice buttons?
Not sure what to filter for on ebay that doesn't return me either 5 million items found, or Zero items found....

Still waiting on my order from them - just sent a note to follow-up.
Don't know about eBay offerings but I came across a couple of options sniffing around the web:

Is it just me or is $199.00 a ridiculous amount of money for a velvet vest?
Now, I truly believe that the laborer is worthy of his hire, as the Scriptures say, but caveat emptor.
I'm sure the quality is good, just as I am sure that a $5000 Armani suit is better than my $300 JCPenney suit...but I bought the Penney suit all the same.
There must be a market gap in here somewhere!

It's not just you, preacher.
That's one reason why this board is so great. When someone happens on a great deal - like those Eton jackets - he shares that information. Most of us spend time searching for deals, so lots of them get posted here.
