I'd love Murphy's in Alexandria. Parking can be a problem though.
Last time I tried to organize one by way of Bravehearts I held it at the "Town and Country" in the Mayflower hotel. I chose that location because they have a great happy hour buffet from 5 to 7 PM on Friday nights, there's a parking garage nearby, it's just a block from the Farragut North Metro Station, and I've always been able to find street parking. Of course, if you really must you can always use the hotel valet parking but the price is pretty steep.
Another nice thing at Town & Country is that Sam (the bartender) gave the two of us who went last time a round of free drinks for being the best dressed guys there. He's Thai but says that if I ever rustle up a kilt in his size that he'll wear it!
