    Jacket sizes: looking for advice

    As far as you know, are these equivalence correct for jacket sizes?

    UK | 34 | 36 | 38 | 40 | 42 | 44 | 46 | 48
    US | 34 | 36 | 38 | 40 | 42 | 44 | 46 | 48
    EU | 44 | 46 | 48 | 50 | 52 | 54 | 56 | 58

    Which is the difference, for a kilt jacket, between 40L and 40S?

    Thank you in advance.

    L=long
    R=regular
    S=short

    Lenght of the sleeves and the jacket itself.

    The 40 stands for the chest measurement (inches).

    A fat guy or someone with big muscles needs a larger jacket, but his arms won't grow any longer with his muscles or beer belly...so someone like that will need a Short or Regular.

    Someone with a "normal" posture...S, R, L...depends on the lenght of his arms.

    A long slender person...R or L...depends on de lenght of his arms.
