Boxing Day Open House
Vancouver and environs XMark members:
I'm having an open house from 3PM onward, December 26th. Raphael, Colin, Bear, Big Dave, Space Moose- you all know who you are. Come on down and mingle with my friends, family, neighbours and co-workers. I'll have some kind of grub on the hob, but if you want to eat serious, bring a food offering yourself. The place is not child proof, so if you bring young'ns you'll need to ride herd on them. The decorating theme this year is "set the balls free". Eighty-nine Xmas balls adorn my apartment- nary a one of 'em hung from a tree. ;-)
My address is 916 East 10th Avenue. That's near the corner of 10th and St. Catherines.
Cheers
Vincent

Hi Vincent,
I really appreciate the offer, but that is the day we always meet up with my wife's dad for Christmas. Thank you very much for the invite though. We'll have to meet up at an upcoming kilts night soon. Hope the party goes well.
Colin
P.S. Raphael is in Sudbury, Ontario until the 30th.

Thanks for the invite:grin: . I'm going to try my best to make to the party, but my wife is starting her new job on the 26th. Hopefully she'll be off early.

I must also send my regrets. Friends and family here on the island will be the priority.
Your new FK will fit the theme of the party well. It should be to you on Wed.
Merry merry, and happy happy.

I wear the kilt because: Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

Now, why didn't you hold this event back in August whilst I was in Vancouver?;) I could have joined you then but, alas, there are now far too many miles between us for me to make it. I am spending Christmas on my own so I could have done with the company!! Another time perhaps!
Have a great time with your friends and family.

Great Gods Steve! You mean the kilt I ordered before the dawn of time- back during the building of the pyramids? You know, in the Tutankhamun tartan with the real gold thread in it? I'm glad I got that order in before the price of gold skyrocketted. (I see on your website that you now only offer a fabric with "pyrite highlights.") :-D
All kidding aside, I guess the days only seem like centuries when you're jonesing. I'm quite sure that the wait will have been worth it. I'll stake out the mail box and maybe I'll be able to wear it to the staff Xmas party tonite.
