    Everybody quit ordering Contemporary FK's.
Then I can finish my "The Art of Kiltmaking" X Marks Tartan tank with pockets.

So far I have half the pleating done, one of the side slash pockets in and the aprons finished. Shouldn't be more than another 4 months to finish.

Then there is the "Dress Model" FK to design. Wash & wear fabrics, Straps & buckles, 2" rise, and all the pockets in the world.

Have also seen a number of Scottish supply houses that sell leather belt pouches to supplement sporrans. They look like American Civil War era bullet pouches.

All this highlights a gripe of mine. I just flat don't understand why most companies selling sporrans don't include the size of the sporran, measurements, cubic capacity, something in their ads. Even just photographing the sporrans next to something of a common size would help.

I've got the same gripe as Riverkilt- it would be nice to know how large sporrans are before you buy one. I use a fannypack simply because what I carry around at work would probly challenge even a Freelander: Cellphone, camera, mulitiple sets of keys, address books, maglight, leatherman, busisness cards, wallet and more. It's either in the pack or my briefcase.A sporran just isn't up to it.
