    cold and kilted

I decided that I want to spend the next 3 days kilted so it stated today new years eve. My wife and I went to a big box store today two times and I got a lot of looks. Women that worked at the store stoped me and told me that the kilt was great but aint it cold. Just said no. Thats becouse I kept my upper body warm and had the socks with flashes up high. The cold air was kind of neat. One of the ladies said that she had a friend that wore a kilt once in awile so I told her that he should wear it more, no scence in having a kilt and not wearing it. On the other end this summer here in Chicago it was ovre 100 so I took the family scuba diving. Changing in to a kilt after the dive was nice and easy. This coming summer I'm taking the scouts canoeing for a week and the only thing I'm taking is my kilt. I just ordered a black kilt to get dressed up in. Should look ok with a white shirt and black socks with white flashes. Have a great year. Ken
