I feel your pain. I have several nice vintage ex- Military kilts in my collection which are alas for disply only. I would be lucky to be able to wear them as a dickie let alone get them around my fat ****!

I used to get frustrated with those thinking no one can be an adult & be that thin. But my wife corrected me. I entered the Corps with a 28" waist and mustered out at 30", so now I realize that I've grown and service men probably haven't just gotten smaller.

I know what you mean. At 29 in the fire department I had a 28" waist. Then WAM, got disabled and now I'm a 40". I wish I was still a 28".
