For some reason wearing a kilt makes me feel more manly. Don't know what it is, but I feel more confident and comfortable in a kilt. And that attitude is noticeable in my bearing and demeanor.

    Forced to Change

Wearing the kilt is slowly forcing me to become a lot more open with people. In pants, I was so shy. In the kilt, I have complete strangers starting conversations. Its bringing me out of my shell a bit.

When you wear a kilt you're noticed...always. Being aware of this gives a feeling of being more alive as the crowd. You're admired...at least for your guts.

And because it's all new to me...I admire my own guts also

    I don't think it's a personality change though...still the same person.

I think this is a big part of it. When I'm wearing the kilt, I don't start up any more conversations than when wearing pants. However, in the kilt, because more people approach me, I'm forced to open up more in response.
