I like the one of the origins of the bagpipe. My mother jokes that the instrument began during a battle between a man and his wife's cat. The man bit the tail, rung its neck and squeezed the body with his elbow to hold it still. He liked the sound so much he played it regularly! ;)

You should see her trying (she had polio so she doesn't walk well even with a large brace) to march around the living room acting out the event and making a meowing bagpipe sound! Of course, it's the act, not how she moves. that is funny.
