    Surely not, Derek? Good grief, what have I been saying all these years?!! Catch your pinned-together kilt on something when you are in a hurry and your kilt will be in tatters. Dear, oh dear! ;)

    Seriously though: never, never pin the aprons together, and once you've positioned and pinned your pin to the front apron, leave it there! Only remove it when the kilt requires cleaning - which should not be very often.

    Thanks again Ham you always save the day ! I also guess thats why when I see a photo of myself in a kilt it looks so parallel at the sides.
