Given what that person reveals about himself, why would anyone give a flying f*** about gaining his approval?
I used to occasionally frequent another kilt-related board. However there were a few extremely vocal participants with similar attitudes and views. Quite frankly, it nearly made me ashamed to wear a kilt. I didn't object to the political leanings, I objected to the moral superiority, and the absolute vitriol that they attacked others who didn't share their views.
Then I came to realize that this sort of person is the same one who shouts "Nice Skirt" from the safety of a fast moving car. They hide behind the a cowards' cover of anonymity, and the safe distance of the internet. It enables them to say things they would never have the courage to if they were in a situation where they might be accountable for their words.
People (I cannot bring myself to use the word "Men" to describe them) such as that are worthy of our pity, possibly of our sympathy, but not of our time.
Looking forward to seeing how the Baghdad kilt turns out.
If I were you, I'd edit the idiot's link out of your post. Other than your post, there's nothing worthwhile on his blog and I'd hate to see him get any more traffic.
