Some time back Jimmy was modifying SportKilts. Think that ended over a year ago.
But hey, if he's doing it again he'd have two of mine in a heartbeat!

Sportkilt now offers some of the modifications as an option when you buy. I'm not sure whether they would consider altering a previously sold kilt or not, but you could try I guess.

Already asked them if I could send my two gathered SportKilts back and have them redone to sewn down pleats, proper length, belt loops. They were not interested.
Don't think they're set up to do anything but sew from scratch. That they made the changes to offer sewn down pleats, belt loops, and custom length is wonderful...just wish I'd held off on buying the two gathered SportKilts.

Thanks guys...and Crawfordville is about 20 miles due south of Tallahassee by the way. I am getting another kilt soon but I wanted to try to fix this one as a backup and as a second kilt for two day highland games. I have gotten by with it as long as I can stand and want something more kilt-like but I hate to just quit wearing this one completely. I am ordering a USA philabeg within the next 3 weeks. I will be waiting until next year to order the Clan Bruce (ancient) tank that I so desperately crave. Anybody know if they are making the Bruce tartan (new or ancient) in pv yet?
