I just ran acrossed this and thought I'd share... The Glenlivet kicks off its annual fundraising campaign by challenging men everywhere to wear kilts – and all for a good cause. All participating companies make a pre-determined donation for every employee that wears a kilt to work. The program also allows for individuals to gather pledges from friends and families in order to take part and help the cause. The Glenlivet will also donate a fixed sum for every on-air journalist and public personality who wears a kilt on Tartan Day, April 6, 2006. All proceeds will benefit Direct Relief International, a non-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian organization that provides assistance without regard to race, ethnicity, political or religious affiliation, gender, or ability to pay. Link Look under Links tab... There is a link to Xmarks!! Cool!

I just checked the link from BP and it says April 6. So it should be a weekday, don't have a calendar in front of me.

Oops! my goof... 4-6-06 is the date...
I wear a kilt just about everytime I go to work. I don't think my employer or co-workers will pay for something I do every day.
I'm really tempted to sign my company up but it's kind of stacking the deck a little since I also require kilts as a company uniform! But you can be darn sure that I'll be wearing my kilt on April 6th & every other day for that matter!
Well as a business of one, I shall definetly be kilted!

I'll be kilted any ways. 8-)

Isn't this just Fate's way of saying it's time to get a Utilikilt (or something like it)? The "it's-too-nice-to-get-messy" argument doesn't hold water any more.
