I spent 4th & 5th grade in North Carolina. Cool place to live, beautiful fall colors. Welcome to XMarks and to our common addiction.

Welcome! Since you are from Montreat, I am sure you are familiar with the Montreat Pipes and Drums -- a very good pipe band.

There is a lot Scottish happening in your area -- a short drive away from the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, the Foothills Highland Games in Hendersonville, plus all the other Games in NC, TN, and GA that are close to you.

Have you been to see the Scottish Tartans Museum in Franklin, yet? If you are not familiar, you can learn a lot about the history of the kilt in the museum, and our gift shop can help supply anything you need to wear with your kilt.

Drop in if you ever get out this way!

Tartan Kilter, welcome from another of your neighbors across the border in North Georgia. The Sr. Pastor (he's a real Scot) at our church spent part of last summer at Montreat as well, I've never been there, but I hear nothing but good things about Montreat.
