I do so hate it when I figure out the problem is me....those folks put the number over the written word....most everyother log in I'm used to puts the word over the number....grumble grumble.
We have met the enemy and he is us...Pogo

Just to add a bit to what Hamish has offered. Indeed, the day-to-day operations of the STA are run more or less single handedly by Brian Wilton, their director of operations. He has been, in the past, pretty good about getting the monthly newsletter out, and I have to note has always been very quick in replying to emails.
Lately contact has been a bit more sporadic, which is most likely due to the fact that they are (or have recently) relocated their office. When I last heard from him about 10 days ago all their paper files and so forth were in the new office, but their phone and internet hook-ups were still from the old office. Hopefully once this situation gets resolved, things will be back to normal.
In the meantime, though the web site may not have been updated to include the handfull of new tartans recorded in the past couple of months, members still have access to information on some 4000 plus tartans -- larger than any other on line database.
Robin, if you still have not recieved your new member packet, just send Brian another email, and I'm sure hell get you taken care of after the move has been completed.

I can wait 3 months for a kilt, so something trivial as a members packet can wait also. I'll give 'em a few more weeks before I start nagging again
