Jeremiah, I think this was directed at me, since I have not seen any posts that indicate Robin does programming..
Anyway, a little bit of everything. Believe it or not, I started out doing Cobol with IMS DB/DC. Moved on to include DB/2 and CICS. then jumped on the client/server bandwagon with VB, C, C++, SQLWindows (Gupta), and Unix scripts. Nowadays I focus on Java, web delivery, application servers, and business intelligence tools. The team I have focuses heavily on the delivery of reports and business intelligence to internal and external customers.
A ironic coincidence, one of my best buddies when I was in consulting was an ex-priest who had left the priesthood to go into IT!

But a few of us are geeky enough to understand exactly what you said!!
BTW, you should leave the "/" out of the database name following IMS . . .
But back on topic -- Jeremiah, heartiest congrats! Sounds like a wonderful trip. (And like KCW, I'm quite jealous!)
Regards,

What an amazingly kind sister you have there, Jeremiah.
I have been privileged to meet up with several of kilted visitors to our shores from various parts of the world and I should be pleased to greet you too. Nearer the time, let me know your itinerary, as far as London and the south of England is concerned, and we'll see what can be arranged. I am just over an hour by train from London and can easily get there.

Ditto the congrats and ditto the jealousy.
Better get on the stick to order a new kilt for the occaision so you'll be sure it arrives before you leave. Wouldn't be good to find out it arrives the day AFTER you leave.
Have fun.
