I'm jealout too! Not just because Seven Nations is going to be playing, but because I now where the Tir Na Nog is located and have had drinks there in the past! Wish we had never left the Triangle, although I might never have started wearing kilts if we hadn't.

I went to see Seven Nations at Tir Na Nog! The sound guy needed an education; the mix was awful. But the band played great, so it was still an awesome show. They played two sets, from about 9:30 to midnight. The pub had a decent crowd. People of all ages too.

I wore my Olive Original UK. I was the ONLY person in a kilt there!!! Not even the band members had kilts on!! I did get 3 nice comments from women. And while leaving, I noticed two guys talking at the bar and pointing at my kilt. The only words I heard were something to the effect of "there's one". Their tone seemed to suggest interest and nothing negative. I didn't get any negative reactions or stares. I'm was just hoping to at least see one other kilt there.

AHhhhh. Good beer, live celtic music, and wearing a kilt. It was a great evening!

I never made it there Ian. I would've worn my kilt had I gone.

It ended up not working out due to our budget. Even though it was only $5.00 each, it just wasn't happening. It wasn't a tough decision since I had to be at work at 5am the next day.

    Maybe next time.
