For me that is pretty casual and I'll dress like that to do my weekly supermarket shopping, etc. or visiting friends and neighbours - that's "bumming" about town for me; whatever "bumming" really means 
Hmmmm maybe I will have to reconsider then....bumming for me can be anything from just running errands to hanging out with friends to bar hopping to one of my team's rugby matches etc. I dunno there's something that just screams "TOO NICE" abotu your pinstripe to wear in a non-formal atmosphere....but then again maybe it's just me...
