I've entered the Haggis
Just got their first CD. Now I can't get "Donald, where's yer troosers!" out of my head...

I assume you are discussing Enter the Haggis. I am fortunate that they are playing on March 4th near my home. It is for the Festival du Bois, a celebration of Canadian folk, Celtic and world music,
dance, craft and food... All with a French twist!

We have gone to the festival the last few years and always enjoyed it.

I love Andy Stewart's version of "Donald" -- It's a great sing-along song in a pub, and really "breaks the ice" around people who may not know what to think of a group of kilted lads.
I can think of a lot worse songs to be stuck in someone's heid...
Cheers,
Todd

Where did you find the CD? I can find Casualties of Retail available but Let the Wind Blow High seems to be out of print.

I haven't heard that song since my computer ate all my music, and I still get it stuck in my head!
I've got to get their CDs.

I ordered it from their website. I've looked around, and it seems that's the only way to get it.
I suppose it might be for sale at their concerts, but they don't seem to tour out in my part of the country.
I'm going to pick up Casualties of Retail here, probably next month. I'm interested in seeing how their music has grown between the two albums.

I don't know about their other albums, but Casualties of Retail is available on iTunes.
I also like Andy Stewart's version of Donald. It's the one I judge the other versions by. I find myself wondering why anyone would do it differently than Stewart.
