    2. Gently pat the kilt to make sure it is soaking up the soapy water.
    Do not agitate it too much, agitation makes wool shrink.
    Walk away an allow kilt to soak, 20-30 minutes, or when ever you
    remember it.
    Hmmm. I hadn't heard that before; I thought I just had to avoid hot water and dryers.

    Machummel was sporting a wool plain black kilt the other day. What a formal looking piece. Looks like a nice dress-up kilt for a formal occation ( or salsa danceing).

    Nice crisp look. I'm mostly a tartan guy but like the alternative fabrics now for a real casual look. Some of the solids are also very crisp and formal looking. We have so much to choose from.
