Different Reasons for wearing the Kilt

I wear the kilt because:

1. It helps me with several medical disabilites I have that are benefited by the freedom of movement, comfort and the ventilation.

2. Because of my Irish ancestry.

3. I enjoy the compliments I get from other people - especially the ladies.

4. I think I look good in a kilt, and feel more dressed up.

5. I pay more attention to and take more pride in my appearance.

6. I like being my own person, and not letting peceived norms of dress dictate what I wear.

7. Because the kilt is a masculine garment.

- I always liked kilts.

- My Scottish heritage is faint, but I still wear the kilt with pride...I show my love and respect for Scotland.
