What's up?
(Uh, I know I'll regret this, but...) All I can think as I read the recent exchange about the woman who attached a mirror to her shoe is "lighten up" guys! Yes, everything (well almost everything) said by the various posters is indeed correct, but I think this whole affair is a sad commentary on the current state of how people view kilts. While most men would not look up a woman's dress (well, not if he could get caught!) nor would most women look up a pair of paints; to a lot of people, a man wearing a kilt is either a joke or an invitation.
I don't mean to point fingers, but the kilt community has done a lot of titillate with the idea that there is something mysterious "up there." Even the Scotish whiskey distillers have used this icon to promote their product http://www.zooproductions.be/films02...wson_s_1B.html.
On the other hand, there is a note of humor in this and I'm sure if any of these posters had met the woman personally and had a beer with her, they would not be so quick to condemn her for having "balls", as it were.
