Those boots look rather good too - not that I need boots - I have too many pairs of boots - not quite the Emelda Marcos of boots but I have more pairs than I could ever wear out even if science could extend the active life of a short fat 55 year old to - maybe 200 years.

They might, though - better be prepared - so - what sort of boots are they and are they as comfortable as they look? Hmm?

Pleater .. The make of the boots are 'Converse'. I call them 'boxing' boots. I have two other pairs, green and white. I find them extremely comfortable.

Aye. I have a pair of them in all black. I wear them with my Utilikilt. From a distance, they look just like leather combat-boots. Very comfortable

Thanks I will look out for the name - my boxing boots are the real thing so thin soled, with no heel, but beautifully made with suede and leather outside and kid leather inside - but in red and white, so a bit too flash for everyday.

I have worn them with an ankle length wrap over skirt for dancing - the soles give me a good grip even on tiptoe.
