I used to be in eastern PA (harrisburg/gettysburg area), but I've moved back to the central highlands (altoona/state college area). I still get out to Philly, gettysburg, etc. all the time! Most often for Barleyjuice shows! ;) Hope to see you sometime.

Sav, are you still using your "gettysburg.edu" e-mail address, or do you have a new one?

Welcome from South Carolina, I used to golf and fish with a gentleman whom was the State Engineer for PA with USDA. I've heard so much about the soils and projects up there I feel like I "know" the state tho I have never set foot in it.

Looks like my reply last night didn't get posted, so take two -
Greetings from a northwestern Pennsylvanian stuck in New York.
Well, maybe "stuck" isn't the right word - it's western New York. I'm almost in our Tri-State (PA-OH-NY).
Have you already checked out the Kilt Map? You can at least see the X Marks members near you.
I had a link for nationwide Scottish festivals and highland games, which had all of those in Pennsylvania, but it's broken.

We are a Commonwealth, not a state. Now who can name the only town in PA?

The only "town" in PA is Bloomsburg. I helped build a church there, many years ago. Most towns are called "townships" in Pa. At one time there were 2 1/2 cities in PA (Philly, Pitt and Scranton) but I figure that Scranton has dropped of the list and WB, Allentown and maybe a couple others have achieved City status.
