I don't know if you all have noticed at K-mart or Walmart those strange little folding beach chairs that come in those oblong bags made from a very heavy nylon or similar material. I use those bags for my kilts when I travel, I put a grommet in the closed end and a drawstring through it and roll up my kilt with the pleats on the outside and attach the drawstring to it and pull it right up into the bag, the open end is then closed with the supplied drawstring closure and my kilts are safe from water and weather and any abrasion. I hope that I explained this right.

The kilted traveler
Thanks guys, for all the tips. That one about the folding chair cover is great! Between knowing that my kilts will be traveling well and I, traveling kilted, will be doing likewise, this trip is going to be a breeze (Now, if only the family doesn't get nervous about a guest wearing a kilt at the wedding ;-)

You'll be the center of attention from the ladies and the envy of the men attending the wedding. Don't worry about it.

Great tip on the folding chair bags. I've got a bunch stashed around, now I"ve found a use for them. Thanks.

Chris, that's what I'm afraid of! The BRIDE is supposed to be the center of attention, not some old fart from out of town!
Oh, well, I'll try and be as "understated" as possible!
Regards,

Just don't let them use you to help pull the old joke where they switch the person who is having the garter placed on the leg after the garter toss!

Well now, she wouldn't be much of a bride if she didn't have a sense of humor, I mean, for my wife to marry ME she had to have one.
