I just got a message from Jerry that the Nylon Sporrans were available. I quickly logged here to share the news - to find I've been beaten to the punch!

    I'll be ordering mine tonight....

Speaking of nylon sporran straps.... I had a major sporran strap malfunction last year at a festival that couldn't be handled on site, so I swiped the black nylon strap off of my camera bag. It was adjustable and had clips on both ends. Worked like a charm.

You can just pick up nylon web strapping and the fittings at most fabric stores. Also Walmart's craft and sewing dept. I've had to jerry-rig a lot of stuff for camping and hiking and I've used that stuff from 3/4 inch to 2 1/2 inch and found that all of the adjusters and buckles are readily available and cheap. The 3/4 might be just the thing since it's a bit wider and will even out the weight nicely.

That's a really interesting idea. My last briefcase/computer case came with a very nice leather shoulder strap but I don't use it since I prefer to carry it by the handle. I might have to press it into service as a sporran strap!

I wonder if Jerry has ever considered adding a cargo model to his lineup...something completely different, like a UK style...that way he'd have all the bases covered...

Use a Nylon web kilt belt, nylon web sporran strap with Jerry's cool new nylon sporran - add a Nightstalker kilt - dark charcoal hose with black flashes and you have the perfect "Tactical Kilt" package! I bet the S.W.A.T. guys would love it!

Very interesting sporran innovation, good to see something new. Anyone get a price on it? or the dimensions? Couldn't get the 'see it in action' link to work.

My body still remains shorter than SWK's standard length...even my longest kilt that I have to wear high is still 2" shorter than the SWK standard length...so you guys that can wear 'em enjoy for me.

    But that nylon sporran....hmmmmmm
