I'm very interested to see how your badger sporran comes out. I started one many moons ago, but allowed 6 or 12 other projects to intervene. With your prodding, maybe it will come back to the top of the list.

Personally, I really like that collection of "toys" you have placed around the fireplace.

Oh yeah, the kilt's nice too.

Nice kilt!! However, what really caught my eye are the two flintlock pistols on the mantle. Something I've always wanted to get into.

Hey Joe, great looking kilt! I know you'll enjoy wearing that one around town. Now in the second pic is a table with what looks like petrified wood for legs! Am I correct? Your home looks wonderful.

I guess you can tell from the toys that my first love is muzzle loading/living history I've been doing it since 1971. I guess a love of kilts is a natural offshoot of it

The legs as well as the table top are made of wood,I bought the table when I lived in Alaska.the table was made in Oregon.
this picture may show it better

A very nice tartan. The leather sporran straps look the part - I am heading straight for the Internet to purchase (too many other things going on to make my own this time).
