You probably couldn't go wrong with any of them, tho' if you're going to be a dancer, go with your flashiest tartan.

This is definetly a great problem to have! Go for the Kilt that hits you one hour before you are set to leave, you will be fine.

Difficult one to call 646guy but I'd say don't wear the Pinstripe Mercy. The Mercy kilt is very comfortable for casual wear (so much so that I've just bought a second one on e-bay) but you get what you pay for and it is a very lightweight polyester material and has only about half as many pleats as a proper Scottish kilt so doesn't hang or swing correctly. Great fun to wear to the shopping mall or supermarket but not for a big night out where you want to your kilt to make a good impression.

I always want my kilt to make a good impression.

I agree with Darrel; go with one of the brighter ones.

The event is actually tonight....I'm basically working the balcony VIP lounge to make sure that they have enough food, booze, it's not getting too crowded, etc....I still haven't decided but I think I'm going to go with the McDonald tartan and the green Jacobite shirt tonight....Hopefully the headset and pack they are giving me will clamp on the kilt without killing the look or the pleats either....
