Looking good, mate. Great pic...I could actually see this photo being commisioned as a painting (minus the dog toy, of course).
I, too, sport the 'oh so necessary cane' and even smoke a pipe like yourself (see my posts at The Pub forum). I also have a shillelagh that I'm going to start carving knotwork into soon (I've got it sanded down to the bare wood so far); I plan on using it at my wedding in October (don't like the idea of ruining my kilted ensemble with a beat-up black aluminum cane). Naturally, it will take a long time to Dremel the knotwork (months) but when I'm finished doing that it's getting stained a deep, dark green. I'll have to add a good supportive rubber cane tip to top it all off. Anyway, again...great pic.
