Most of the time what you see advertised as a "kilt belt" is really a formal belt, so it is black. But brown options are available. Check out both the casual belts and the Clansman belts on our site:

I highly recommend the casual belt sold at the museum. It's a good heavy belt that will last you a LONG time. I've actually got two, one in brown and one in black. They are the belts I wear the most, unless I want to dress up a bit.
