You know, I've always seen the SWK Nightstalker as a kind of a warm grey. I've worn brown hikers with it and I don't think it looks WAY out of whack. I think that the sock color can affect this...I have light warm grey and dark olive hose and, again, as unbelievable as it might seem, they don't look so far off the colors of the Nightstalker that it looks odd. The only thing that I have had a problem with is having only a black belt and sporran kit going...I'm working on a very casual brown set...cause what else are you gonna wear with hikers?

Granted I don't go for the perfectly color coordinated look in any of my modes of clothing...Hamish I'm not...I come from a family of male "clothes horses" who have to have everything match but I dislike the overly calculated look of that sort of thing.

So just try a couple of combinations and you'll get something that you feel comfortable in...you, yourself, are probably being more critical than most observers would be. Do, however, go for that SWK Hunting McLeod as soon as you have the opportunity...it is very cool and does go very well with brown accessories.
