If that is the case and you already have the brown shoes you want to wear, go for the MacLeod and the brown sporran and belt for now. When you want to get the black set and another tartan, than go for the balck shoes.
For your first kilt, you don't need to buy everything fresh all at once. Try and incorporate what you already have in your closet. If you have brown shoes, match to those first. Whith brown accesories, I find that brown work boots or hiking boots also go well.
