    Boss is intimidated...

Not sure why. Maybe the red Uzi?

Wearing the Ireland's National from USAK (a great kilt!), black pullover, hose and shoes, with a brown sporran abd belt. Got good comments from everybody at the department team building event at the arcade (Gameworks for those who know it).

Will be wearing the same kilt again this Friday for St. Pat's day. Might go for green hose that day, but not sure I have a shirt to match that.

Said it before, and I'll say it again: that is a nice tartan. Much nicer, in my opinion than HoE's "Irish National".

    Moosehead,

I have to agree. It is a very nice tartan, but not so bright and overwhelming that I can not wear it for every day wear. Unlike the Scottish National, which is pretty bright and colorful.

True. More muted green, and the orange (saffron) is nicer than the brighter yellow. Mind, for a solid, I think I'd go for a mustard yellow, like a true old-timey saffron, than the orange of today. Good look all around for you.

    Alan,

Repeat after me, green is good, green is good, green means another kilt...

I can't wait to wear it for St. Pat's day. I would love to find a yellow/saffron shirt to match the tartan stripe, but I doubt it will happen by Friday.

It's funny...all but one of my tartan kilts are green based. A trend, perhaps?

I'm developing a taste for blue. Except aht My MacNaughton is red, and the kilt I'm making is red and I'm wearing a black one right now and the tartan I just bought for my next kilt is gray, but not ONE........

.....green kilt in the lot. Hmm.

Poor, Alan: no green kilts to be had, eh? I've got a 16oz green trad (MacDonald of the Isles), a 16oz blue trad (Macdonald of Borodale), a 13oz red trad (Williams of Wales), and my SWK Black Watch casual. Add in the XMarks tartan due in this year, and it seems I'm short another green and red kilt. If we count the Isle of Skye box kilt I want as a green, I'll need to order the Clan rose for my second red kilt.

Bryan...then again, I *can* tap a county Kerry kilt, too...

The boss may be intimidated, but we all know you as a pussy cat, green Kilts and all.
