n00b in Hawaii
Hey all... Just chiming in here in the newbie part of the board.
The name's Jim. I'm a squid. I run the reactor on a nuclear submarine. I'm stationed in Pearl Harbor. I really just started wearing kilts about a month ago. Have yet to purchase a single one, but I own 5.5 of them. The trick to owning half a kilt... it's in the works. All but one of my kilts were made by my own hands. The one that wasn't was made by my wife.
I'm here for the fun!

Welcome Jim! I am jealous of where you are stationed! Must be great to be kilted in Hawaii! Congrats on joining the forum, and also on making your own kilts! A labor of love for sure.
UAO, which am I? Tried to determine from your post, but.....did not see "sick individual" in the list....

Welcome to the board. You will have fun here. Maybe your next kilt should be the US Navy tartan?

Hey Sailor
Welcome aboard! I used to be stationed in Hawaii, Pearl Harbor, and of course was in the Navy! Is there really a Navy tartan? US Navy?
Any way, post when you can!

Now what could possibly be more fun than stoking the furnace on a nuclear sub?!
So are your shipmates just as enthusiastic about kilts as you are?.
Have fun!

Sounds like you have to look into the Polaris Tartan story...
