hmm...
figure it this way...if a lass makes to to your shoes as she looks you over, you have far more important things to worry about than what footgear to wear.

Two of my kilts are made from a "RealTree" style camo material. With those, I sport my typical Vans sneakers and ankle socks. I also sport my Vans when I wear my solid caramel colored flannel kilt, again with ankle socks.
I'd venture to think my Red Wings work boots with my camo kilts would look pretty good. My other two kilts are for RenFaire garb. I don't really wear them at all, but I'll be wearing ghuillies with 'em when I get back to the main land where I can actually go to a RenFaire.
