My 5-minute flashes
Norby -- Congrats on your promotion!
Here is how I solved the flash problem. I used rubber bands once and they cut off the circulation in my legs, so I went to 1.5" elastic tape. Velcro holds them together, and if you wrap them right the hooks never contact your sock. The flashes are grosgrain ribbon, which comes in any color you could ever need. The flashes are sewed together as you see here, with another piece about 3" long stitched in perpedicularly to hold the two flashes together. The whole thing just slips over the elastic, so I only need one elastic for all my different flash colors.
Maybe I should put together another "build-along"?
