Great album. You did a great job with the discriptions. And the reveal on the Mountain kilt was how do you say... revealing.

Eeeeeek! I am certainly going to be watching my laurels from now on, Michael. You have a great photo album there - and appear to be a natural poser!!

Great shots indeed Michael, you look great. I especially like the way you described all the Kilts that you have.

Lookin' good... Flashes would be a good thing, also looks like the SWK's need to be shortened a little, since they're a bit long, especially when compared to a traditional, as evidenced below (larger version of avatar pic, thanks to Al G. Sporrano, btw)...

A bit of knee should he shown with a kilt...

Thanks John, I've heard other comments here about kilt length in relationship to the knee. Some say the kilt should hit the "top of the knee," others say "middle of the knee." Of course, this can be determined by how high one wears the kilt at the waist.

I noticed one comment somewhere, from a brother in the U.K. that Americans tended to wear our kilts too long, implying that Scotsmen like them shorter.

Of course, that's the problem with "off the peg" kilts--both the length and the waist (as well as beltloop size) are not quite as we might want them sometime.

Anyway, thanks for that sharp eye. (I see you're a photographer, so that explains it!)

    Regards,

I suspect that any seamstress could take care of that for you. Shorten them by a couple inches so you're showing some knee when you're wearing them. Anyway, they do look good and I may add a couple SWK's to my collection...

    Great album Michael,

You do us a service with your pictures. I think we all wonder what to wear with our various kilts and browsing galleries can give us ideas we would have otherwise missed. Ham's gallery is still the best place to go to figure out what works with what. Mine shows how confused we can get with coordinating our accessories withour kilts. But the point is, having a place to look for ideas is critical for newcomers and guys with new kilts.

Thanks for sharing your pics and ideas.
