Friendly Guest House
I have just returned from a weekend walking in South West Scotland, staying in Dumfries, which is the area my family come from. I stayed at a guest house where the male host wears a kilt full-time. He greeted me in a utilikilt and showed me his latest purple thistle kilt.
The guest house is extremely friendly, very clean and an excellent breakfast, all for £35.00.
It is called Ferintosh, 30, Lovers Walk, Dumfries, telephone 01387 - 252262, or email stay@ferintosh/net. www.ferintosh.net.
By the way ferintosh is an old whisky that was made in Dumfries, but no longer, and was a favourite of Robert Burns and Sir Walker Scott.

I've already emailed the link to my wife (she's at work right now)....
Honey...let's go to Scotland......
....it isn't a hard sell: she's been wanting to go ever since she started watching MOTG....you ought to give a National Award for the Encouragement of Tourism to the producers of that show...I don't know how well accepted it was in Scotland but it seems to have gone over well in the States.
Best

Now I know where I can stay while visiting, you just never know.
Like the buckle the best.

That's great! I've gotta get me one of those. And by the way Ferintosh is beautiful! I know where my wife and I are staying when we come to Scotland!

Your B&B does, indeed, look wonderful. You have a great site, too. I'd love to come for a visit someday...
