Now a circular staircase is a little different! Much like a ladder you are directly under or over a person.

Well, that's one Aggie who speaks with wisdom.

Actually, what he says is all too true. We are a rather prudish and paranoid bunch over on this side of The Pond.

    Keep the faith, Lads!

Agreed!!! My attitude is "it aint that different from anything you have seen before so whats the worry". Plus its all been seen by far more people that I can possibly count so its not a big deal to me... if thats the best way someone can get a thrill, they need to get a bit more excitemenmt in thier life!

So, hey folks, lets think this one through.

How many men/lesbian women hang around stairwells hoping to cast their gaze up women's skirts/dresses?

How much less likely is it that women/gay men are gonna hang around stairwells hoping to cast their gaze up a kilt? How many days/weeks/years would they be hanging around that stairwell waiting for a kilted gent to arrive?

It ain't gonna happen because no one is looking....

Good point Riverkilt. But I think it is the paranoia fact that has Americans and Canadians all concerned. To us, it is not whether it is reasonable that it should happen. We are worried about the off chance: the rogue blast of wind, tripping and ending up on your back with your kilt covering your face or the woman you trips behind you and ends up on her back between your legs. At least for me, I'm not so much worried about those who want to see something. I mean, I would prefer to keep everything private. But the real phobia is of offending someone who doesn't wish to see anything.

I agree with Aggie. North Americans (I think it is a Canadian problem as well as American) need to get some prespective on what is reasonable.

Agreed. I think the only issue of real concern mentioned in this thread is the sitting in the stands scenario; the only "stair climbing" scenario that might be a worry, would be if you are in stands that are just a stair-step of bleachers, and you decide to move up a row or two - then you might lift that knee high enough to flash someone, but normal movement in most environments? It's a non-issue.
