I got my buttons from Three Feathers.
The trick is going to be finding a dull silver chain. I'm not sure how shiney silver will look with pewter buttons. Of course my sporran will have shiney silver clasps so maybe it will tie together OK.
I did *exactly* this and should have pics any day, now. I went to Orchard supply hardware and bought a three-inch length of silver chain. I wired it to two extras of the buttons I used for the jacket. voila, completed.
I'm antsy for the pics, but my lady has sent in the film, so I should have them any time, now.
