    I don't know....I think I prefer lower. I agree with TimC, it's about comfort.

    Personally I like to wear my hose 3 finger widths below the knee cap. It feels more comfortable there and I get a double fold on my kilt hose tops. I like to wear my kilts just touching the of my knee but I have one that dips a little lower but not by much.

    As for too high... Well, your either wearing your host too high or your kilt too low if your hose vanished underneath your kilt!!!

    I scrunch mai hoose doon tae the taps o mai boots... air wear um jus a the tap o mai calf moosle....

    depens on iff ya hae bonny legs an a'.... if yur a skinnymalinkie ya best pull yur hoose richt oop undar yer knee....

    I tend to wear mine higher. Looks less like I'm wearing a schoolgirl's uniform. I don't wear them just below the kneecap, but do bring the tops of the kilt hose to the bend of the knee. Works better for me.
