    Vancouver Steam Clock

Today on the front page of the wikipedia is a picture of Vancouver's steam clock:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

This is situated near The House of MacLaren, a touristy Scottish shoppe.

It was neat to see something familiar on the wikipedia.

It's been so long since the last time I was in Gastown, seeing the clock again makes me want to go (and to the Scottish shop also).

And here's lil ol' me standing by that very clock on 2nd August last year whilst attending the wonderful 'Vancouver Gathering 2005' - Oh, happy memories!

Ten minutes after that photo was taken, I was the proud owner of my first BearKilt (in the British Columbia tartan). Bear's workroom/shop was just around the corner from the Steam Clock.

I sure wish that I had heard of Xmarks when you came through, Hamish.

    Steam Clock

While on vacation in Vancouver in 2001 I visited the Steam Clock. It is amazing clock to see and hear.
