If this was "tongue-in-cheek", it was poorly done - I didn't get the humor.

Norbydog's post, however, was so clearly over the top that it's hard to imagagine anyone taking him seriously - it was clearly a joke.

I don't know onion sounds serious. Maybe he could add a poodle as a corporate logo

I was going to suggest some purple high heeled boots, but these are just so precious.

Perhaps a kilt with a poodle embroidered appliqued on the front, like the '50s poodle skirts?

But would a kilt look good with all those petticoats?

And I hope everyone understood my suggestion of a slit up the side was definitely a joke as well.

I was thinking of the poodle - either that or a little chihuahuas (sp?) like in Legally Blond.... that would be perfect match & Norby could carry the matching dog in his sporran with the head sticking out - and of course the dog woudl have to get a kilt too... the accesorizing we coudl do with this is PHENOMINAL!!!! i see maching hats... plaids... getting the flashes to stay on the dog might be a bit problematic.... ah - there's my hot glue gun...

Please note: the above words we writtne in total jest. apologies to anyone who might take offence to the above post. If any chihuahua are offended by it - TOO BAD!!!

I don't know about looking good but as someone who wears lace edged petticoats with a kilt, I can vouch for their ability to stop the traffic.

Twice there have been shunts on the windy crossroads as I headed for the bank. Perhaps the blue kilt is too lightweight for February in this area. The petticoat is perfectly decent almost knee length sturdy cotton with a nice bit of lace all around but it obviously is far too distracting for the local drivers.

I decided to put off the making of a purple version with red lace for fear of causing heart attacks.

Good thing we don't get many horses along the main road here.

That is taking frugality to the very limit.
